IT COMES AT NIGHT R
Moviegoer Opinions:
Based on a theater exit polling of 22 moviegoers:
Unfortunately, this movie wasn't well attended on its opening weekend, at our theater at least, but the few reviews we were able to collect clearly shows it wasn't a movie most enjoyed, despite the high reviews given by movie critics.
TEENS: Two males loved it, one enjoyed it very much, but the remaining three were somewhat to very disappointed. The ladies enjoyed it even less. Only two of the five somewhat enjoyed it. Usually, teen females are the audience for scary/horror movies so these are very low reviews.
TWENTYSOMETHINGS: Poor reviews from the two males and two females.
ADULTS: One male rated it "average" and one rated it "below average." Only one of the five females truly enjoyed it. The rest rated it "average" to "poor."

Cinema Review Prediction: (before opinions)
Reactions will be middling to low for this slow-moving horror thriller. Older adults will probably enjoy more than younger ones. Males and females will enjoy about equally.

Average critic rating:
Very Good (Berardinelli, Internet Critic)
Very Good (Roger Ebert)
Good (USA Today)
Good (NY Post)

THE MUMMY PG-13
Moviegoer Opinions:
Based on a theater exit polling of 56 moviegoers:
The professional critic reviews vary greatly and so do the moviegoer reviews.
TEENS: Two loved "The Mummy," and two rated it "average," which, coming from a teen male, is sorta low for a major movie with such star power. As for the ladies, one loved it, two enjoyed it very much rating it "above average," and one rated it "average."
TWENTYSOMETHINGS: Great reviews from both the males and females. They all either loved it or enjoyed it very much, which is a very good review.
ADULTS: The male and female reviews are decent, but certainly not great. About 30% of both the males and females loved it. Another 20% of the males and 40% of the females indicated that they enjoyed it very much, rating it "above average." Unfortunately, nearly half the males and a quarter of the ladies rated it "average" (enjoyable but nothing special or memorable) with a small percentage actually disliking it. For s major summer blockbuster movie with major star power, these are mediocre reviews at best.

Cinema Review Prediction: (before opinions)
Reactions will be best with younger adults, and on the whole reactions should be good. Men will definitely enjoy more than women.

Average critic rating:
Below Average (Berardinelli, Internet Critic)
Good (USA Today)
Poor (Rolling Stone)
Average (Slant Magazine)
