Super spy Lance Sterling and scientist Walter Beckett are almost exact opposites. Lance is smooth, suave and debonair. Walter is... not. But when events take an unexpected turn, this unlikely duo are forced to team up for the ultimate mission that will require an almost impossible disguise - transforming Lance into the brave, fierce, majestic... pigeon. Walter and Lance suddenly have to work as a team, or the whole world is in peril.
Animated Action Adventure - This is an animated action comedy aimed at viewers of all ages. Fans of lead stars Will Smith and Tom Holland will definitely enjoy though some other familiar names such as Karen Gillan have only small roles. While there is a fair bit of action violence, there is nothing in here that one wouldn't find in children-targeted animated action fare on television.
Berardinelli, Internet CriticFull Review Average ... a limp James Bond knockoff... It's a big-screen cartoon and, although it may work for its target audience - video game-consuming pre-teen boys - other viewers may find the production to be lacking in anything beyond a little visual razzle-dazzle.

OPINION OVERVIEW The following is the original "What's Worth
Watching" write-up for this movie.
Based on a theater exit polling of 29 moviegoers:
CHILDREN: The kids all enjoyed "Spies In Disguise."
TEENS: The two males loved it, but the three females felt it was just a "good/average" film.
TWENTYSOMETHINGS: The two males loved this movie as did the lone female.
ADULTS: The adult reviews are decent. Half the males loved "Spies in Disguise." Another 20% enjoyed it very much. The remaining 35% felt it was just a "good/average" film, which isn't bad for this animated movie. The female reviews are slightly lower. only one of the eight loved it, with another three rating it "above average," which indicates a movie they enjoyed very much, but didn't love. Unfortunately, the remaining four reviews are just "good/average," which actually isn't bad considering this is a kids movie.
