Inspired by the viral New York Magazine article, Hustlers follows a crew of savvy former strip club employees who band together to turn the tables on their Wall Street clients.
Comedy Crime Drama - This fact-based crime drama is a showcase for stars Constance Wu, whose role is a departure from the lighter fare she's known for; and Jennifer Lopez, whose role is very much in line with her glamorous diva image. Other familiar faces such as Julia Stiles, Keke Palmer, and music stars Lizzo and Cardi B. have much smaller roles. Constant language and sexual content, as well as nudity and drug use, make the film strictly for adults.
PROFANITY: Over 30 F-words; 10 S-words; 2 GDs; a numberof others. SEX/NUDITY: Lots of stripping and sexy dancing with nudity. VIOLENCE: Some hits. DRUGS/ALCOHOL: Frequent alcohol and tobacco; some drugs. ACTION: None. COMEDY: Comic lines and situations, often raunchy.

Although technically a true-crime story, the movie diminishes the potential thriller aspects in favor of developing the characters...
Roger EbertFull Review Good "Hustlers” as a whole is a blast, stomping and striding with the confidence of Lopez's thrilling introduction. And walking out of "Hustlers,” you may experience a sensation similar to that of the strippers' victims: You may not remember everything that happened, but you'll know you had a great time.
Rolling StoneFull Review Very Good Lopez's talent blossoms into something that takes your breath away. Her see-it-to-believe-it performance in Hustlers is that dazzling, that deep, that electrifying. Hustlers promises and delivers a party-hard, wild ride. No one expected insights that pull you up short.
Slant MagazineFull Review Good The film proves to be a fun parable of Great Recession survival, its barely submerged subtext being the communal strength of women of color, the population most affected by the crash. Hustlers takes the intense bonds formed between the women in these unlikely circumstances as its driving theme.
