Critic's Review Heading

Roger Ebert Full Review
Excellent "Apollo 11" isn't like other documentaries about the first moon mission. In fact it isn't like most other movies, period. It's magnificent and unique, an adrenaline shot of wonder and skill. Any information that you happen to absorb while viewing "Apollo 11" is secondary to the visceral experience of looking at it and listening to it. It's the kind of movie that you feel in your marrow...

NY Post Full Review
Very Good ... a remarkably full-feeling story of the historic mission, from boarding the spacecraft to a "Welcome Home” parade down Chicago's Michigan Avenue. "Apollo 11” is foremost a tale of technology and humanity. It's about a country that needed a figurative lift, and got it with a literal one.

Rolling Stone Full Review
Excellent Using recently discovered archival footage and audio, this chronicle of one small step for man is one giant nonfiction achievement

The Guardian Full Review
Excellent An exceptional, vibrant restoration of never-before-seen footage results in one of the most astounding films about space ever made
