Movie Type (Genre) Heading
Action Adventure Comedy - This third installment of the British spy action comedy series is again a showcase for star Rowan Atkinson's brand of silly, slapstick- and sight gag-heavy humor. Co-star Ben Miller also returns, with the most notable additions to the cast being Olga Kurylenko and Emma Thompson. While there is some mild language and an instance of drug humor and fleeting comic nudity, most families will find this to be appropriate for pre-teen kids and up, who will probably be most receptive to the broad humor.

Critic's Review Heading

Roger Ebert Full Review
Average It could probably work well as a sketch comedy bit. But it gets tired fast, even with lots of glamorous locations, elaborate slapstick, and Emma Thompson. The film runs out of ideas so quickly that Atkinson literally resorts to dropping his pants to get a laugh from his saggy bare bottom.

Slant Magazine Full Review
Poor ...David Kerr's lifeless Johnny English Strikes Again simply coasts on the series's low stakes and bland, outdated spoofing of pre-Daniel Craig-era James Bond plot devices and characterizations. The film's juvenile humor is clearly pitched toward kids....
