An elite American intelligence officer, aided by a top-secret tactical command unit, tries to smuggle a mysterious police officer with sensitive information out of the country.
Action - This is a violent action thriller that should please fans of lead
Mark Wahlberg. Ronda Rousey and John Malkovich fans may be
disappointed by their small roles. Constant language and very brutal
and often bloody
violence make the film not for kids.
Roger EbertFull Review Above Average There's a more than satisfactory amount of boom-boom in the movie's trim running time—at 95 minutes... So the movie often felt to me like "The Gauntlet” as rewritten by a Breitbart News bot.
Rolling StoneFull Review Below Average ...should be first-class action flick — instead it's an incoherent, chaotic rant. ...what we get over the next 90 minutes is InfoWars: The Movie, a motormouthed mess that finds Wahlberg indulging in endless paranoid jags in between needlessly complicated plot loop-the-loops.
Rex ReedFull Review Below Average ...a confused film that, for all of its macho bluster and propulsive forward motion, doesn't really know where it's going. Frantic, kinetic and self-serious to the extreme, Mile 22 is a movie that spends the precious few moments when it's not blowing things up or killing people, yelling at you like a pissed off coworker with no sense of boundaries.
Slant MagazineFull Review Poor The film's almost elemental plot is matched by a corresponding lack of characterization. Mile 22‘s nightmarish litany of rants-as-dialogue might have been mitigated by a keen sense action, but the film's gunfights pass by as jumbled images from various vantage points, all edited together with no rhyme or reason.

TWENTYSOMETHINGS: The lone male loved it.

Close to 40% of both the males and females loved it or enjoyed it very much. Most of the remaining reviews are "good/average" (enjoyable but nothing special or memorable). About 10% to 15% didn't enjoy it much.
