Movie Type (Genre) Heading
Action Adventure Comedy - While this animated feature is targeted at the kid audience that is the target for the popular book series, some parents may be put off by the large amounts of crude and silly bodily function humor throughout the film, which gives it its PG rating. Most families, however, will find this safe viewing, and young kids to preteens are indeed likely to be the audience that is most appreciative. Fans of lead voice actors Kevin Hart and Ed Helms will be pleased.

Rex Reed Full Review
Good ...a good night of fun at the movies, which this candy colored and purehearted collection of potty humor serves up with enough postmodern glee and subversion that it is likely to entertain those of us who don't drink sugar water out of Mylar pouches.
