A woman sets out to make life hell for her ex-husband's new wife.
Thriller Drama - This is a thriller aimed at adults, particularly women. Fans of
Rosario Dawson and especially Katherine Heigl, who has a change of
pace villain role here. Violence, language, sexual content, and
general adult subject matter make the film not for kids.
PROFANITY: 7 F-words; 3 S-words; a couple of others. SEX/NUDITY: Sex scenes without nudity. VIOLENCE: Fights, hits, stabbings with blood. DRUGS/ALCOHOL: Frequent alcohol. ACTION: Some fights. COMEDY: Darkly comic moments and cute kid humor.
Roger EbertFull Review Above Average There's trash, and then there's good trash. "Unforgettable” falls into the latter category. Slick, glossy and radiating juicy villainy, it knows exactly what kind of movie it is and goes for it with giddy abandon.
NY PostFull Review Above Average For a bad movie, this one is an awful lot of fun. Whether "Unforgettable” knows it's funny is unclear — the film's production notes suggest not — but either way, it has some howlers for the ages. B-movies like this don't come around every day.
Rolling StoneFull Review Poor Unforgettable is definitely the wrong title for a movie you want to erase from your memory the second it ends. ... a film that recycles every Psycho Barbie cliché in the Hollywood handbook. You can see everything coming down the pike here, including the violent catfight....
Slant MagazineFull Review Below Average Unforgettable is disappointingly outmoded in its depiction of gaslighting, deficient in its erotic charge, and doesn't even offer unique forms of torture for its protagonist. The truly depressing thing about a thriller as undercoocked as Unforgettable is its failure to fly on dark fantasy, its descent into utterly attainable mundanity.
