Critic's Review Heading

Berardinelli, Internet Critic Full Review
Average Interesting visuals and an elliptical style aren't enough. The central mystery is sufficiently intriguing to keep the viewer engaged to a degree but the resolution is both unsurprising and unsatisfying.

Roger Ebert Full Review
Average ...as a fully satisfying feature-length drama, it's a bust. And it's iffy as a visionary spectacle, too, because it's too long and over-scaled... This is all a shame, because there's much to admire in "A Cure for Wellness.”

NY Post Full Review
Good ...fantastically eerie movie... ...it's all so chillingly twisted that the slow pace didn't bother me. So rich is Verbinski's imagery that it's transfixing to wander through his fortress of the macabre.

Rolling Stone Full Review
Average This is not so much a horror movie as a lookbook for one – an assemblage of scary-flick odds and ends slotted next to each other with the thinnest of connective tissue. Granted, Cure looks gorgeous as it grinds through its checklist.
