An aspiring DJ who spends his days scheming with his childhood friends and his nights working on the one track that will set the world on fire. While working on his track things change and gets complicated when he meets a damaged older DJ who takes him under his wing.
Drama Romantic - This drama set in the electronic dance music scene is aimed at young
adults, but it is also the first Zac Efron lead film vehicle with
the most mature content, featuring a lot of language, drug use, and
sexual content that is reflective of the world in which it is set.

Based on a theater exit polling of 14 moviegoers:
This movie certainly didn't pull in much of an audience. We were only able to collect 14 reviews from a couple showings.
TEENS: Two females loved it and two enjoyed it very much rating it "above average."
ADULTS: Three of the four males indicated that they loved "We Are Your Friends" with the fourth one enjoying it very much." Three of the six ladies also enjoyed it very much but two others only rated it "average." One female didn't care much for it and rated it "below average."
