Action Adventure Sci-Fi - Like the previous four films in the series, this is a science fiction
action-adventure, and like the fourth film, this is a PG-13, so the
violence is not nearly as brutal nor bloody as in the original films.
That said, the action may be too intense for young kids. Arnold
Schwarzenegger is the only major returnee both in front of and behind
the camera from any previous films. There is some moderate language.
Berardinelli, Internet CriticFull Review Good Terminator Genisys is blessed with an eclectic cast.
Roger EbertFull Review Average But for better and for worse, this is Schwarzenegger's show. His performance, and his character's evolution, are the reasons 'Terminator Genisys' turns unfortunately jokey and self-referential, to the point that it borders on parody.
USA TodayFull Review Below Average Terminator used to be a sci-fi franchise defined by its cool time-travel concept and even better special effects. Unfortunately, it's 'Hasta la vista, baby,' to those good old days.
