Notes:
The evil queen is out to destroy the only person in the land fairer than her. But what the wicked ruler never imagined is that the young woman threatening her reign has been training in the art of war with a huntsman dispatched to kill her.

Action Adventure - While based on the familiar fairy tale, this is not a kids' movie or
something nice and sweet like the famous Disney animated version.
This is a darker and more serious take on the film with a couple of
big battle scenes. Violence isn't extreme but it is intense and some
scary images will be too strong for young kids. Charlize Theron
doesn't have nearly as much screen time as the two other stars,
Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth, and the familiar British actors
who play the dwarves have very small roles..

Based on a theater exit polling of 102 moviegoers:
CHILDREN:Six of the eight children loved it.
TEENS:The three males loved it. Nearly all the females indicated they enjoyed it very much, with half loving it. These are great reviews.
TWENTYSOMETHINGS:The six males loved it. Over half the females also loved "Snow White and the Huntsman." A few more rated it above average but nearly a third were slightly disappointed. They only rated it as an average movie.
ADULTS:The male and female reviews are very similar. Approximately three quarters of the reviews came in very high with half indicating they loved it. The remaining quarter rated it "Good," which indicates an average movie and isn't a bad review but it's a little weak.
