Animated Comedy - It's a quickly paced adventure with a good amount of humor, but
there's more to the movie than just comedy. It has several
inspirational, feel-good moments. Like many previous
animations, "Robots" isn't just for kids. It should appeal to all
ages.
PROFANITY: None SEX/NUDITY: Several vague sexual references only adults would "get." VIOLENCE: Quite a bit of fighting. Certainly nothing graphic. DRUGS/ALCOHOL: There's a bar scene where they drink, I assume, alcohol. ACTION: LOTS of fast paced activity and action. COMEDY: Not a great deal of humor, but enough.

Roger EbertFull Review Very Good Like "Finding Nemo," this is a movie that is a joy to behold entirely apart from what it is about. It looks happy, and, more to the point, it looks harmonious. One of the reasons this entirely impossible world works is because it looks like it belongs together, as if it evolved organically.
USA TodayFull Review Above Average ...the movie's one-liners are sometimes funny, other times flat. "Robot's" visuals are its finest asset. The world populated exclusively by robots is an intriguing blend of the retro and the futuristic that often is dazzling... But the innovative look is undercut by the predictable story and a drawn-out, overblown ending.
