THE CALL OF THE WILD
DAN STEVENS (Hal) most recently starred in Noah Hawley's
highly acclaimed Marvel series "Legion," which
wrapped its third and final season on FX in August of 2019. Stevens also
appeared in Hawley's feature directorial
debut, "Lucy in the Sky," in September 2019.
In 2020, Stevens will star in "Eurovision" alongside Will Ferrell, Rachel
McAdams and Pierce Brosnan; in "Blithe
Spirit," an adaptation of Noel Coward's classic comedy, starring Judi Dench and
Isla Fisher; and in Dave Franco's
feature directorial debut, "The Rental."
Previously, he starred as The Beast in Disney's smash-hit live-action "Beauty
and the Beast." Other projects include
"Her Smell," a punk-rock picture starring Elisabeth Moss, and Gareth Evans'
"Apostle," a Netflix original in which
Stevens plays a man who goes in search of his missing sister. He also starred as
Charles Dickens in "The Man Who
Invented Christmas," in the romantic comedy "Permission" opposite Rebecca Hall,
in the cult hit "The Guest" and
in "Night at the Museum III," "A Walk Among the Tombstones," "Criminal
Activities," "Colossal" and "The Ticket."
Stevens' television credits include the Golden Globe-winning drama "Downton
Abbey," HBO's "High
Maintenance," "Sense & Sensibility," "The Line of Beauty," and "Frankenstein,"
as well as roles in the TV movies
"Maxwell" and "Dracula."
Stevens' theater credits include "The Heiress" on Broadway; "Arcadia," "The
Vortex" and "Hayfever" in the West
End; and "Every Good Boy Deserves Favour" at The National Theatre in London. Up
next, Stevens will join Martin
McDonagh's "Hangmen" in its Broadway debut at the Golden Theatre in early 2020.
