DAVID LEITCH's (Directed by) directorial debut was the 2014 surprise box-office hit John Wick, which he co-directed with Chad Stahelski and which starred Keanu Reeves. His second film as director was the neon-noir action-thriller Atomic Blonde, which starred Charlize Theron and James McAvoy and was released in summer 2017.

Leitch most recently directed the critically-acclaimed box-office smash Deadpool 2 which starred Ryan Reynolds, Josh Brolin, Morena Baccarin and Zazie Beetz. The film was released by FOX in May 2018 and is now considered the highest grossing X-Men film of all time and arguably the highest grossing R-rated film of all time. Leitch also directed the Celine Dion music video for Ashes, which is the song featured in the film. He was nominated for a Grammy Award for the Deadpool 2 soundtrack.

Leitch has many film and television projects in development, including Ubisoft's The Division, starring Jessica Chastain and Jake Gyllenhaal for Netflix; the sequel to Enter the Dragon at Warner Bros.; Undying Love at Studio 8; and Friday Black at Universal. In television, Leitch is producing The Continental, which is the TV spin-off of the John Wick franchise at STARZ.

Leitch served as producer of John Wick as well as executive producer for both John Wick: Chapter 2 and John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum.

Prior to becoming a director, Leitch spent a decade in the stunt business and doubled actors including Matt Damon and Brad Pitt on such films as The Bourne Ultimatum, Fight Club and Mr. & Mrs. Smith. He was also a fight choreographer, stunt coordinator and 2nd unit director on multiple films including The Wolverine, Anchorman 2, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Captain America: Civil War, Logan and Jurassic World, to name a few.

A martial artist by trade, Leitch and partner Stahelski own the action design and production company 87Eleven Action Design, which they founded in 2006.
