THE PREDATOR

JACOB TREMBLAY (Rory McKenna): At only 11 years of age, Jacob Tremblay has quickly established himself as one of the industry's finest working young actors.

Tremblay garnered international recognition for his breakout performance opposite Brie Larson in the critically-acclaimed, Oscar-nominated film Room. Directed by Lenny Abrahamson, the film was adapted from the international best- selling book by author Emma Donoghue. Tremblay received the "Breakthrough Performance Award" from the National Board of Review, a Critics' Choice Award from the Broadcast Film Critics Association for "Best Young Actor," and a nomination for "Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role" by the Screen Actors Guild, among other accolades, for his performance in the film.

Tremblay was recently seen in the adventure film Burn Your Maps, opposite Vera Farmiga, which premiered at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival, and starred opposite Naomi Watts in The Book of Henry, directed by Colin Trevor row. Last fall, Tremblay starred in Stephen Chbosky's Wonder, based on the New York Times best-selling novel by R.J. Palacio. Tremblay plays Auggie Pullman, a young boy born with facial differences, who begins at a mainstream school for the first time. Julia Roberts, Owen Wilson, and Mandy Patinkin co-star.

Tremblay is currently filming The Death and Life of John F. Donovan, in which he will appear opposite Kit Harington, Jessica Chastain, Natalie Portman, and Kathy Bates. Directed, written, and produced by Xavier Dolan, the film follows an American movie star who finds his correspondence with an 11-year-old exposed, prompting assumptions that begin to destroy his life and career.

In November 2016, Tremblay appeared in the psychological thriller Shut In, opposite Naomi Watts and Oliver Platt. The film was directed by Farren Blackburn and released by EuropaCorp. He also appears in the thriller Before I Wake, opposite Kate Bosworth and Thomas Jane, for director Mike Flanagan.

Tremblay began his career in 2010 when he was featured in several commercials. At five years old, Tremblay quickly transitioned to the big screen when he was cast in Raja Gosnell's Smurfs 2. In the film, Tremblay plays the young son of Neil Patrick Harris and Jayma Mays.

Following Smurfs 2, Tremblay had supporting roles in the television shows Motive for ABC, Mr. Young for Disney, and a supporting role in the movie for television, My Mother's Future Husband.

Tremblay resides in Vancouver with his parents and two sisters.
