JAMES MCTEIGUE (Directed by) made his feature-film directorial debut for Warner Bros. with V for Vendetta, which starred Natalie Portman, Hugo Weaving and John Hurt. He followed this with Ninja Assassin in 2009 and The Raven in 2012, a fictionalized account of Edgar Allan Poe's life and stories starring John Cusack and Luke Evans. In 2015, he directed the film Survivor. McTeigue then worked on two original series for Netflix: Sense8 and Marco Polo. He directed two seasons of Sense8, which was shot in 14 cities around the world. McTeigue is currently in production on another original series for Netflix, Messiah, a high-concept drama set in the world of geopolitics. He has more than 20 films and TV series to his credit, including The Matrix trilogy, Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones, Dark City and Paradise Road. He has also served as director on numerous commercials.
