CHRISTOPHER WALKEN (Dr. Walter Tinkler) won an Academy Award and the New York
Film Critic's Circle Award for his performance in "The Deer Hunter." Walken also
Academy Award nomination and won BAFTA and Screen Actors Guild (SAG) awards for
Me If You Can." Additionally, in 2010, he was nominated for a Tony Award and
Award for his performance in "A Behanding in Spokane."
Among his numerous and diverse film credits are "Annie Hall," "Pennies from
"The Dead Zone," "At Close Range," "Biloxi Blues," "King of New York," "Man on
Fire," "Man of
the Year," "Wedding Crashers," "Hairspray," "True Romance," "Pulp Fiction,"
"Seven Psychopaths," and "A Late Quartet."
Walken's stage work includes "The Lion in Winter," for which he earned a
Derwent Award; "The Seagull," which brought him an Obie; "The Rose Tattoo," for
World Award; James Joyce's "The Dead"; as well as a production of "The Seagull"
at the New
York Shakespeare Festival. He also performed in a Spike Jonze-directed music
"Weapon of Choice."
Walken most recently starred in the 2014 film "Jersey Boys," directed by Clint
"One More Time," co-starring Amber Heard and Oliver Platt; "The Family Fang,"
Bateman and Nicole Kidman; and in "Peter Pan Live" for NBC, as Captain Hook. He
in "The Jungle Book," directed by Jon Favreau and co-starring Idris Elba,
Scarlett Johansson, Bill
Murray, and Ben Kingsley.
His upcoming projects include a starring role in the film "Irreplaceable You,"
Steve Coogan, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Jacki Weaver.
