BITTER HARVEST

BARRY PEPPER (Yaroslav) is one of Hollywood's most talented actors and has amassed an impressive body of work that speaks for itself. Ever since he gained critical attention for his portrayal of Private Jackson in the Academy Award-winning feature Saving Private Ryan, Pepper has been sought out for compelling roles with award-winning filmmakers. Pepper's starring role in Billy Crystal's critically acclaimed HBO film "61*" earned him Golden Globe, Emmy and Critic's Choice nominations. The film tells the story behind the competition between the New York Yankees' Roger Maris (Pepper) and Mickey Mantle (Thomas Jane) to break Babe Ruth's single-season home-run record in 1961.

Pepper was last seen in the franchise film Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials and up next is the adventure Monster Trucks, with Jane Levy and Lucas Till. Previously, Pepper starred in Like Dandelion Dust, which won more than 30 national and international film-festival awards including Best Actor honors at both the 2009 Las Vegas International Film Festival and the NY Vision Festival. Pepper's role in Tommy Lee Jones' directorial debut, The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, netted him a nomination (Best Supporting Male) at the 2006 Independent Spirit Awards.

Other film credits include Kill the Messenger, with Jeremy Renner; The Lone Ranger, starring Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer; Broken City, opposite Mark Wahlberg and Russell Crowe; Snitch, with Dwayne Johnson and Susan Sarandon; True Grit, alongside Jeff Bridges, Josh Brolin and Matt Damon; Casino Jack, opposite Kevin Spacey; Seven Pounds, with Will Smith; The Green Mile, alongside Tom Hanks; 25th Hour, starring Ed Norton and Philip Seymour Hoffman; Enemy of the State, with Will Smith and Gene Hackman, We Were Soldiers, with Mel Gibson; and Knockaround Guys, opposite John Malkovich and Dennis Hopper.

On television, Pepper starred as Robert Kennedy in the Reelz Channel miniseries "The Kennedys," with Greg Kinnear and Katie Holmes. In recognition of his outstanding performance, he won the 2011 Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie as well as a Gemini Award in the same category.

Pepper has also made his mark as a producer. He executive produced and starred in the title role in ESPN's "3: The Dale Earnhardt Story," a biopic about the NASCAR star who died in a crash during the final lap of the 2001 Daytona 500. His performance garnered a SAG Award nomination.

Pepper also executive produced and starred in The Snow Walker, which earned nine Genie Award nominations including a Best Actor bid for Pepper.
